Rain suggests his unusual promises on radio programs in succession
Rain and broadcaster 'Loh Hong-Cheol'
Rain suggested his unusual promises on radio programs in succession, and such suggestions have generated a lot of interest.
Rain appeared on MBC FM4U radio show program 'Loh Hong-Cheol's 'Close Friends' beamed last 13th and made a boast, "If my second single 'Hip Song' is number one on the music charts, I'll show 'Loh Hong-Cheol's cheap dance on the live TV music program." ('Loh Hong-Cheol's cheap and funny dance made people laugh on a TV show program before.)
During this radio program, 'Loh Hong-Cheol' told Rain, "I've always been interested in your dance choreographies. Incidentally, I've found that your 'Hip Song' choreography seems to be created based on my cheap dance.".
And Rain responded to his joke with wit by saying, "I've seen your dance for my reference. If 'Hip Song' is No.1 on any music charts, I'll be ready to show your cheap dance on the live TV music program where applicable."
The listeners have reacted to Rain's remarks, "I'll pay attention to his stage in such a situation."
Before this, during KBS FM 'Narsha's 'Volume Up' beamed last May 4th, Rain promised, "If I top the music charts with 'Love Song', I'll show the song with a fish in my hand, imitating an animated otter's way of dancing, which is a takeoff on my 'Love Song' performance." But unfortunately, his plan did not materialize because things didn't turn out his way.

There is no need to apply the epithet 'World Star' or 'the star selected as one of the most influential 100 people in the world by Time magazine' to him.

MBC FM4U 'Hope Songs at Noon'
Q: How did you spend your Christmas?
Rain: A meeting was scheduled yesterday morning, after this, I took lunch with my acquaintances at 1pm, and one of my background dancers whose birthday was yesterday so I had a dinner with them.
Q: What is your final target?
Rain: I wish I would really position as a singer, producer, actor, and designer. Especially, I hope that my movie, Ninja Assassin, and my album to be released in the USA later do very well at the Box Office or Billboard chart.
Q: Tell me how to regain the self-confidence which was losed.
Rain: That's just "Love myself", "Have a dignity of myself". I think that is the most important key to success.
Q: And tell me how to diet yourself.
Rain: I've found a way to make it easier for anyone that dividing 2 meals a day into 5, eating little by little and frequently, and one time a day, walking for a half an hour.
Q: What's your new year's wish?
Rain: I wish all of you would live happily in 2009 and always be healthy.

Part 1: Doing away with killing time
Q: It's been 7 years since you debuted under the name of Rain. How do you feel to get to where you are?
Rain: Even if it falls through, I much prefer challenging to sitting back and taking it to bank.
Q: You made a great coup in your field, when is your heart full?
Rain: I feel a catharsis that the audience ardently support me at the concert, even if they are not my fans.
Q: Your manager allegedly addresses you as a diehard. What do you think of it?
Rain: I wanted to do anything and everything well, acting, singing, business, and even training my seniors. I'd like to take a rest, but I have no choice but to do in the circumstances. In addition, I absolutely like to win even a trivia battle, especially, I prefer a powerful game.
Q: How does your father address you at home, and your younger sister?
Rain: he does me as "Son!", she does as "Oppa!", but she does as she only need something.
Q: How do you want to be addressed as an actor by the public?
Rain: Ever going on Rain.

Q: People was warmly welcomed as you came back with your success. What was it like that to you?
Rain: In fact, I didn't originally cross a bridge before I came to it. I had done it my best shot, so I had no regrets no matter. But the results were better than expected, I felt much, and I'm deeply grateful to you.
Q: Whom are you going to show off your success in front of, especially?
Rain: JYP(Park Jin-Young). He always pampers it even if I do so. We are on joking and familiar terms with each other.
Q: Wasn't there any happening like a movie on your activity?
Rain: On the flight to Australia and Cambodia, something went wrong with the machine, it nearly caused an air accident, and that was a close call.
The other one is, in my 2th album activity, I participated in a showcase in Japan with nothing but one spectacle lens, I didn't know that till I was through my song.
Another one is that I went with a girl friend. She was a top model and I was flat broke at that time before my debut. I broke up with her because of a slight misunderstanding, but her memory is enshrined in my heart. I hope everything turns out okay each other.
Q: If you give your fans and the listeners your kind regards lastly?
Rain: I always appreciate your supporting me and a Happy New Year!

"The Close Friend"
As a child he had been home alone, so he is pretty useful at cooking even now.
Rain had losed his way in the street, when he was 4.
In those days he got on a bus and went up to an island located far away from the place he lived. After a while he could return home with a policeman's help.
He's been inhibited, but he's liked the dance and music from a child.
Toward attending the university, he was in circumstances and that had made frustrated him, but he became to brace himself up again by his deceased mother's bankbook and testament, which were the only things she had left for him.
Moreover, his favorite restaurants, PC bang, and convenience store were separately introduced with the natural voice of the owners. They have loved and supported Rain as ever.
So what next?
He is in preparation to meet the stage for the year-end awards ceremony, and plans to show the more upgraded technical earful stage.

The first song is "4 minutes" of Justin Timberlake and Madonna on the recommendation of Rain.

Rain : Rain sounds familiar to me a little more.

Rain : It is like a syndrome derived from "ism", it means that I'm prepared ready for making my spiritual and
outgoing style, fashion, thought, etc.
B : Your new album has been loved from a lot of female fans.
Rain : They seem to like it much more than I expected.
B : What do you like to do in your free time?
Rain: I spend most of my free time reading the politics or economy or stocks section in the paper.

MBC FM4U "At the blue night" with Alex
Q: How is an actor different from a singer?
Rain: I can't really find much of a difference between the two.
Anyhow, It's great doing my domestic activity.
Q: I guess you practice hard.
Rain: I think I shall improve by my practice.
Q: I heard Beyonce does so and knocks on wood in advance of her performance.
Rain: I ever knocked on wood with that way in Thailand of my world tour as well as
she does, but it wasn't effected and didn't go well.
Q: How your comeback struck you?
Rain: I'm expecting much of it, and there are many new singers I've never seen.
Language is not like a study but like an acquirement.
As long as I do well inside, I can be the best even outside.
Rain: Cool's "The reason I wanted you" and Yu Yung-Jin's "Your sweet smell" are the
songs that I liked in my primary school days, Cisco's "Incomplete" is the song
in my trainee days, and my "Love story" song was made by joint with actress Ha
Ji-Won. We had been up all through the three nights.

MBC Star Starry Night radio show
Rain has made good friends with DJ Park Kyung-Lim since his debut.He didn't attend at her wedding for his overseas schedule, and she has something in the oven. There are some schoolgirls as the audience inside the studio.
Rain : Since I was called by name the world star, I've felt like a dignity, duty, and sense of responsibility. Even though I'm wanting in ability as yet, I think my diligence and constant effort compensate for lack of it more.
Rain talked over telephone with a female singer and Son Ho-Young who was one member of GOD group. Jeong Ji-Hoon under the stage is true and sincere, while Rian on the stage is strong and the best.Rain : I put a mind control into myself on the stage, "I'm the best", but out of it, I become a mediocrity.
