Rain will travel to Germany to join the German cellist, Jan Vogler, at the Dresden Music Festival 2011. The two musicians will have a joint concert under the title "RAIN & VOGLER - Asian Pop Meets European Classical Music" in Dresden on 19th May.
Jan Vogler is one of Germany's greatest cellists, winning a great number of awards, and he is director of the Dresden Music Festival.
This year's program of the Dresden Music Festival will include a special joint concert by Vogler and Rain titled "RAIN & VOGLER - Asian Pop Meets European Classical Music". This joint concert will not only break the boundaries between pop and classical music, but the two musicians have the aim to send a musical message to young people from both continents, Europe and Asia.
The concert will be held at the opera house, Semperoper, on Thursday, May 19th. It will begin at 9 p.m. (GMT+1) and take around 1 and a half hour. The ticket prices are from 6€ up to 55€.
