Rain gets awards in three different sections at the 2010 Green Planet Movie Awards

World star Rain swept the board, taking the Best International Entertainer in Asia and Asian Cultural Ambassador of the Year awards, including 10 Outstanding Asians in Hollywood award at the 2010 Green Planet Movie Awards held in the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in LA of the U.S. for about 4 hours on Mar. 23rd.

The Green Planet Movie Awards hosted by Academic Foundation and Anaheim University is an international awards ceremony on subject of movies, Asian cultures, and the environment, and it is celebrating its 2nd anniversary this year and its title has currently been changed from the Green Globe Film Awards.

The winners were determined by an online vote. In particular, Korean directors, actors and actresses, and entertainers among Asian stars were tied for the most Green Planet Movie nods, with 62 from total 100.

Actor 'Lee Byung-Heon' and 'Choi Min-Sik', and actress 'Kim Yun-Jin' and 'Kim Hye-Soo' were selected as members of the winners in the 10 Best International Actors of the Decade (Asia) section, and in the 10 Best International Actresses of the Decade (Asia) section, respectively.

Director 'Bong Joon-Ho's movie 'Mother' picked up a win for Best Foreign Cultural Movie, Best Foreign Movie, and Best Foreign Drama, and received the best director award.
