Rain plays soccer with Manchester United and Ninja Assassin creating buzz

On July 24th, Rain / Bi faced off against Park Ji Sung and Manchester United at the Banpo Hangang Citizen's Park in Seoul. It was a charity match and dubbed as the "Dream Match." Rain's team consisted of Rain, kids from the Boy House, the Mayor of Seoul (Oh Se Hoon), Mancheter United players Johnny Evans, and John O'Shea. While the other squad consited of Manchester United players Gary Neville, Dimitar Beratov, and some teenagers selected from a Youtube competition. Rain's team won the match 6-4.

Rain and the mayor of Seoul (Oh Se-hoon) displayed their passing and dribbling skills, when Park Ji-Sung was asked about who was better. Park Ji-Sung joked that "The World Star is Better." Thanks to melinda stephens for the tip.

In other news, a special screening of Ninja Assassin was shown at the Comic Con convention in San Diego yesterday. More than 1300 were in attendance for this special screening and after the movie was over, it created a lot of buzz at the event. Most of the people in attendance had no clue who Rain was, but after the movie was over people were saying that they were very impressed by him and were wanting to find more information about him. Most have been saying the action and effects were awesome, including Rain's incredible skill and talents as a Ninja. However, a few complained that the storyline itself was somewhat lacking. Regardless, the majority of the people in attendance were WOW'ed when the movie was finished which is only good news for Rain and Warner Bros. Syfy (formerly Sci-Fi channel) seems to agree with this sentiment. Looks like the "World Star" may actually become a World Star.
