Rain is presently in Germany filming "Speed Racer" and his appointed character is named "Tae-Zo". He began filming the beginning of this month together with other fellow Hollywood stars.
During this 2-month period of filming until the end of August, Rain has not a single manager accompanying him, thus attracting people's attention. Rain and his personal English tutor rushed over to Germany together, using free time in between film shooting to practice English. Last month on the 25th, Rain celebrated his 25th birthday in Los Angeles, but because of lawsuits related to the US concerts, he was not able to celebrate with ease.
However his mood returned to normal upon stepping onto Germany's soil. Since the beginning of his debut, Rain has been suffering in big ways lately while working on advancing onto the world stage through his first international movie "Speed Racer", and because his managers are unable to look after Rain to give him some slight feeling of relief while he shoots the movie, they are all feeling extremely anxious.
In order for Rain to perfect his lines and to intergrate well into the Hollywood movie, this time he traveled alone with his English tutor. Rain's English tutor is originally his bodyguard and since last year, he has been following Rain around 24 hours a day.
After being chosen as one of Time's "100 Most Influential People" Rain received good responses from America, but because he wanted improve on his English before returning to the US again, this act of withdrawing a step back displayed his humbleness.
