No Lawsuit

“We tried to support Rain but things went wrong so we’re very sorry for this situation.”, said ‘StarM Entertainment’ in an interview which took place at Imperial Palace Hotel at 2:00 pm on July 18, 2007.

This is the first statement about Rain’s world tour from StarM Entertainment after the last minute cancellation of Rain’s world tour concert at L.A. After the cancellation, ‘Click Entertainment’ which was originally supposed to host ‘Rain’s world tour in Hawaii’ has filed against ‘StarM entertainment’. Mr Lee, the representative of ‘StarM entertainment’ kept calling Rain as an artist during the interview and said, “We’re very sorry for tarnishing his (Rain) image and it was certainly our fault to choose wrong local promoter.”
”At the day of L.A concert, the artist (Rain) had been taking care of the stage. But I decided to cancel the concert for safety reasons. So when I got into the meeting room, Rain was already crying and I didn’t know what to say.”, said Mr. Lee. ”As we were making the situation clear, the installation of the equipment was impossible. Rain asked me then, how many songs he could sing without the equipment but a mike. A 26 year old artist comforted hundreds of staff but he cried a lot.” StarM Entertainment stated that it had seen a possibility as a global star from Rain while it was producing his picture album in 2002 and then stepped out to host his world tour.
Last June, when Rain’s contract with JYP Entertainment was over, Mr. Lee from StarM entertainment said “We want him and expect that it would cost an arm and a leg to get him.” Today, Mr.Lee said, “We’ve been doing very well and just a mistake ruined our reputation. It may badly affect to bring Rain to our company.”
When Mr. Lee was asked about the world tour progress which hadn’t gone well and the position Rain was taking, he answered, “Rain hasn’t brought a lawsuit against us for this situation. Promoting world tour together, StarM Entertainment and Rain have found a deep trust and I’m sure that Rain knows it.” Also, Mr. Lee emphasized, “Rain’s world tour hasn’t been over yet.
After revamping everything about the tour, we are going to restart the world tour this fall. And the problems with ‘Revolution Entertainment’ will be resolved and these sort of disgraceful things will never going to happen again.”
