Asian pop star Rain (aka Jung Ji Hoon) is creating a buzz ahead of his "Intensity" concert on Sept. 11 at the SM Mall of Asia open grounds.
Besides the concert, Rain is in the country shooting scenes for "Fugitive," his action drama of which the story revolves around money that reappeared 60 years after the Korean War.
Rain arrived in Manila from Cebu last Sept. 4.
The "Fugitive" features an international cast. Besides Rain, it also includes Lee Na-Young, Lee Jeong-jin, Daniel Henney, Hong Kong actor Ti Lung, Japanese actors Naoto Takenaka and Uehara Takako and Chinese actress Josie Ho.
The drama will have its pilot episode on Sept. 29 on KBS.
Rain's schedule is full until the end of the year. He is doing all activities before his scheduled enlistment in the Korean military in early 2011.
He was originally scheduled to enter the military this year but his request to postpone his enlistment has been granted by Korea's Military Manpower Administration.
Filipino fans will finally get to see Rain on Saturday in the concert. The "Intensity" concert will also feature K-pop boy band U-Kiss and singer Christian Bautista as special guest.
