Rain won the award for Ninja Assassin outshining all others including the Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie. Rain is also a famous pop singer and dancer and he has released 7 albums and 19 singles so far.

Rain was selected for the Hollywood flick based on martial arts, Ninja Assassin mainly because of his athletic ability and interest in martial art. He played the role of Raizo, the protagonist who is raised by the Ozunu Clan to become the most lethal Special Forces Ninja assassin in the world.

Though the movie bombed at the box office and couldn't achieve much positive reviews, Rain's performance was highly appreciated in the flick. His swift moves and actions were exactly as per the requirements of the plot.

Perhaps Angelina Jolie couldn't stand up to the mark of Rain, a relatively novice to the Hollywood film industry. But we guess Jolie wouldn’t mind losing to a real bundle of talent, would she? After all she is herself an immensely talented actress and knows the value of ability in Hollywood!
