Get to know Rain, America, it looks like he is going to be the next big thing after winning last night's 'MTV Movie Award' for 'Biggest Badass!'
Last night's nominees for "Biggest Badass" at the MTV Movie Awards included; American heartthrobs Channing Tatum and Chris Pine, Australian action star Sam Worthington, and the world's most famous mom and actor, Angelina Jolie, but it was South Korean pop star and actor Rain who walked away with the award for his performance in Ninja Assassin!
As we told you yesterday, Rain is one of the most beloved singers and actors in Asia, and it looks like he may start making his way over to America! Assassin is his second English language film, after Speed Racer, and he clearly has a huge global fan base given he edged out the other four superstars in his category!
"They told me I was nominated for the Badass award so I've been working out," Rain joked when he accepted his award. The audience didn't seem to understand his humor so he remarked, "Why so serious? Enjoy. Thank you so much. Thank you."
