Q: How do you feel about the highly favorable response to you at the airport, Japan?
Rain: One of the things that I've always felt about my Japanese fans is that their love for me has not changed.
I think they sincerely hope their artist they love to do very well.
Q: What characteristics do you think they have?
Rain: It's their passions I have great respect for, but on the other hand, they have control over their emotions.
Q: How do you feel about your successful inroad into the American market through your first hollywood leading movie Ninja Assassin?
Rain: I think it is significant that the movie's huge billboards were in the heart of USA, so I'm very happy.
I'll pull out all stop to see good results once again even in the year ahead.
Q: What is your own know-how to expand into USA?
Rain: That there is something about me seems to be necessary to attract people to me for outdoing many western artists who are more talented than I am, on the basis of my own know-how.
Q: What is your own special approach of advancing into foreign markets?
Rain: As for me, I seemed to be off to a great start.
And, I think that's the very universal when the most Korean style and the most Western style are combined, so I believe I could become the best even in USA when I'm the best first in Asia which is near me, including in Korea.
Q: How do you foresee the development of the domestic music industry?
Rain: There are so many competitive older and younger artists, I seem to be the backbone of commuincation between the juniors and the seniors, so I think I have to do better than I do now in order to improve the music industry.
Q: What do you think about the current domestic girl groups who are cutting brilliant figures in the world of popular song?
Rain: They are competitive enough even in the international markets, that have sometimes stimulated me to work harder.
Q: How do you handle yourself under pressure?
Rain: I usually work off stress by eating.
Q: What was the most recent movie you saw?
Rain: Avatar.
Q: Which food do you cook best?
Rain: seafood Tteokbokki.

Rain: Since I don't have much time to see her, I haven't spoken with her a lot.
Q: Which picture is on the screen of your cellphone?
Rain: My picture.
Q: What is your cherished one among your songs?
Rain: Since I was first brought to world attention due to 'How to Avoid the Sun', I love the song best.
Q: For which one among your dramas do you have a deep affection?
Rain: My first drama, 'Sang Doo, Lets Go To School'
Q: Are you in your golden days now?
Rain: I still have a long way to go.
Q: Why do you think that you always do good jobs in various aspects of your acting, singing, and so on?
Rain: I do very well when I'm hungry.
Q: Why don't you date?
Rain: I think I should do, but I'm under a lot of consideration now.
Q: When was the last time you dated?
Rain: Behind the scenes, actually there are lots of facts you don't know.
Q: Describe your ideal lady.
Rain: I've really been interested in sexy women, of course, I also like nice women who have kind mind.
Q: How do you date?
Rain: I try to do by acting agrressively.
Q: I've heard your dream is to be a good father, what do you think you should do to be a good father?
Rain: In the future, I'd like to spend more time with my family if it's possible, but it seems to be difficult to say how things turn out so long as I don't quit my job.
Q: When do you think you're going to marry your sweetheart?
Rain: Your guess is as good as mine as to when I'll be married.
Q: Your close friend Baegka had an operation to remove his brain tumor last week, what do you want to tell him?
