[Belated Fan Account] Legend of Rainism Jakarta

3 Dec. I got a sms from my airline:

xxx will depart xxxx hours
Jakarta: Rain 27 – 33 C

I smiled. Yes, I know. Jakarta: Rain, that's why I'm going there.

When we landed and applied for our visa, the immigration officer saw my friend's passport cover, and told us: "Rain! He's here!"

We smiled. Yes, we know, that's why we were here!

Then we checked into our hotel. My friend did not have any booking. The hotel was overbooked. OK, it's time to pull some strings, especially the strings of one of the world’s most influential people, and deadliest and sexiest Ninja Assassin. So I chatted to the staff. "We come all the way just for Rain's concert. He's the best... You have to help my friend..." Bingo, it worked. I love the Jakarta people, they are friendly and nice, especially when they all know and love our prince!

The Indonesian clouds have made a special tee for the occasion. I met new and old friends. We were all ready to cheer for our prince.

I did not realize that glow sticks were not readily available in Jakarta (otherwise I would have brought as many as I could). I know the ticket price is quite expensive and as a result many clouds and devoted fans have to sit at the back. But none of these affected our excitement as our prince showed up on the stage!

I love our prince when he said hello to us in Indonesian local language, it really shows that he cares about his fans. I won’t describe in detail our prince's performance – it's great and entertaining as ever. He really wants to give us a big party, therefore he asked us "stand up". He asked us "Why are you so serious". He even pointed to someone and said "Don't sit down. Don't sit down"! We the obedient and loyal clouds of course stood up all night anyway, and loud cheers and screams echoed the hall.

The highlight for myself is the encore part. Many fans abandoned their seats and tried to move forward to be close to our prince. When he was singing "With You", me and my friends managed to move to the first row, singing and dancing with our prince as if we were his chorous. And then it's "Fresh Woman", and he pointed towards us and sing "you, you, you, you"!!!! And I pointed at him at the same time and sing "you, you, you, you" too!!! It was electrifying, it was so fun and so wonderful!

And to end the party, our prince got down the stage and did a round of shake hands. All fans went crazy and it was a happy chaotic moment for those lucky enough to touch his hand. He then went up the stage again, took up a few towels and started to throw these to his fans. Again this sent everyone screaming and shouting trying to catch the towels. I don’t want the towels. I want to catch HIM!!

Then it's time for this party to end and another one to start somewhere else...

I stayed less than 24 hours in Jakarta, slept less than 2 hours but I was all smiles, all emotions at the end of my trip!
