Rain emerges through a huge billboard poster up on New York's Times Square

A huge billboard poster for Rain's feature film Ninja Assassin has been set up on New York's Times Square.

Measuring 18 meters (around 709 inches)12 meters (around 473inches), this huge billboard with Rain's dynamic appearance is drawing the attention of New Yorkers and visitors to the city.

Global companies which represent Korea, such as Samseong or LG, have advertised on Times Square through the billboard, but this is the first time that a Korean actor has emerged in New York, the center of the world's economy and culture.

Straightforwardly, this fact shows how Warner Brothers, one of the world's top three studios, has a deep affection for Ninja Assassin.

An official from Rain's agency expressed, "This has been confirmed by the tip from a Korean resident in New York. Congratulations are being received for that - I'm so proud, as a Korean, of Rain." and the official added, "My heart is more swollen with pride because Rain has already been acknowledged as a representative of Korea with soccer player 'Park Ji-Seong' through CNN."

Starting from Thanksgiving, one of America's utmost holidays, Ninja Assassin will be released on November 25th all over the world. (November 26th by time in Korea)
