In 2009, Rain will try conclusion through his movie and music in the U.S.A

Rain:
"Next year will be the time I tries conclusion through everything that I've worked hard since my debut. Because NinjaAssassin is expected to be revealed next July or August and I plan to make my debut in the America pop market next August or so."

Rain, who has come back with his 5th album and pushed on the domestic activity, has already been getting ready for the coming year plan in detail.

Recently, when Rain met with me in the waiting room of KBS 2TV's "Music Bank", he said, "After my 5th activity is over within the month, I plan to fly to LA, U.S. next January and to dash into planning for my successful debut in the main current market there."

He said, "An American top artist is expected to take part in my world wide music album, I can make public as long as the contract is finalized. Probably, there will be a duet song with a well-known female singer.
A famous Asian singer tries to make his debut in the U.S.A, but even so It's certainly not the place to be able to receive attention easily, that’s why I've worked out the strategy intended to impress the field musical circles."

Q: By your own estimation, how do you think you have been getting along this year?

Rain:
I passionately attend shooting of NinjaAssassin during the first half of this year, but it was a lonely time to be left alone abroad for a few months.
A short time ago, to record the latter half of my movie, I ever saw the edited temporary example of the movie I had acted out, and it was a very pleasant film even when not connected to the sound effects.
This film is entirely different with the existing movies.

The second half of the year, I came back with my 5th album in two years, its gap fell on me, but I couldn't feel the audience's warmness.

Q: The sales volume of your 5th album was over 100,000, Rainism and Love Story songs in your album stayed long as the 3th or 4th ranking on the music chart, and you made a great coup.

Rain:
The sales volume of it was greater than I anticipated.
And I was curious how the public would receive my first album without regard to success or failure, because it was the first album after independence from JYP.
I wanted to show the ability as a producer, and I just thought that I would show the best stage.

Also, later on, I wanted to become a role model of my juniors such seniors like Jo Yong-Phil, Shin Seung-Hoon through making the reputable music & music videos and showing the in-depth activity.


Q: You are a principal stockholder of your company, JTune entertainment. Have you received some benefits?

Rain :
I invested 900 million won in only preparation like a record production and 2 music videos. From now on, my making money seems to avail that its break even point has just been passed at long last. Ha ha ha...

Q: Recently, your Rainism held the rating as a harmful media from Committee for Teenagers Protect.

Rain:
It left me much to desired on that point, "what is its standard?"
Even if it had been passed through the deliberation of 3 broadcasting stations, I couldn't understand that it was restrained again too late.
I want them to acquaint me what their exact standard is.

Q: Do you have any plan to give a concert?

Rain:
I plan to do my concerts in China, Thailand, and Taiwan including each twice in Korea and Japan,
and I'm also considering it in the U.S.A.

Q: Are you keeping in touch with JYP?

Rain:
We are exchanging greetings how we are getting along through a message.
Eventhough I separated from him, he is the exceptional person to me and I give thanks to him.

Q: When will your new faces come out?

Rain: A female solo singer will come out next May, and Groups are in the process of lineup.

Q: JTune Creative, special company for fashion&design, is allegedly expected to launch out "Six To Five" as a clothes brand?

Rain:
I'm on my taking part in its design, it's just "Kind Vintage"
Now layered look is in fashion, as I aimed at diverting a person from his cares that he wears clothes every morning, I became to begin.
I hope to enter into the U.S.A. even through my clothing brand.
