'Stand on his own' Rain tossed the dice... change and meaning regarding 'rainism'

Singer Rain announced his come back with showing his 4 new songs from his 5th album 'rainism', including the title song 'rainism', 'love story', 'only you' and 'fresh woman' on MBC dream center located in Ilsan, Kyunggi province on 9th of October.

This come back of singer Rain has 2 big significant meanings. Rain who debuted Hollywood as an actor and as a world star who came back to Korean stage is the first point and the second point is that he declared independence from Jin-Young Park who nurtured Rain as a star and Rain produced his 5th album by himself which is very meaningful in terms of change.

Rain meant to depict intention to show the image of real video by his album title 'Rainism'. He also participated in actual lyric writing, composition and producing, otherwise he's really trying to stand on his own not only externally but internally in terms of music.

It's not an exaggeration that this is the second turning point as a singer ever since he debuted 7 years ago.

Like this, Rain fully added all his abilities such as his powerful voice which is mid-low as well as his ability to understand his own emotional songs. Rain showed humorous dancing while singing his new song 'pretty woman' which is a funky style dancing song, saying "I can't make hard moves for my dancing since I'll be turning 30 soon." on his come back show on 9th.

Rain who produced his 5th album 'rainism' by accepting songs from mid level or amateur composers such as Tae-Wan Kim, Jin-Ryul Bae, V.O.S. Hyun-Joon Choi instead of taking famous composers.

Maybe this choice was possible since he's famous enough that he didn't really have to show the name of composer for his songs. But it's still a wonder that whether Rain's movement for this new change would approach his fans as something fresh or something inadequate.
