Rain will be releasing his Korean album in October

Asia's King of Pop, Rain will be releasing his Korean album in October. This album will be the product of his first try as a music producer. It was said that, in order to free himself from the music styles of his teacher cum former producer, Park Jin Young, Rain not only attempts to compose, but has also put in lots of effort in the selection of songs.

From Rain's debut album "First Drop" in 2002 to "Rain's World" in 2006, all the albums were produced by Park Jin Young, allowing the hype Rain-styled music to sweep across Asia. However, since the end of his contract last year, Rain decided to leave JYP to set up his own company. After the establishment of J.Tune Entertainment, Rain had been busy with work in order to enter Hollywood & Rain has filmed the movies "Speed Racer" and "Ninja Assassin" consecutively. Hence, there has been no news about his new album so far.

According to the report by Korea's DongA.com, while filming in Berlin last year, Rain will try to compose music once he gets any free time. Currently, a few pieces have been completed. In the upcoming album, besides being able to listen to the songs he composed, there will be works from other composers and lyricists. These make people wonder what would be the music genre presented in his next album. It was said that it might be released as a "mini album" in Korea and overseas simultaneously.

This time round, not only did Rain get promoted to being a producer, according to his management company, he will be bringing out a new boy band group as well as a female singer by the end of this year or beginning of next year. Rain will also be producing for these two groups personally, displaying his leadership. Rain will be holding his Fan Meet in Korea on the 27th, and the Hollywood movie "Ninja Assassin" which he plays the lead role for the first time, will be shown worldwide next year in January.
