Rain planning to do a Korean drama series

On the 8th of this month, South Korean young "Son of Heaven" Rain's maiden Hollywood piece hits screens globally, and it has been receiving quite the attention and anticipation in South Korea. Recently, there also has been the passing of news that Rain will hopefully return this autumn to develop his acting career domestically; playing in a drama series to end his own time of separation of 3 years.

According to Rain's management company, in October of this year, Rain will be comprehensively restoring himself in his domestic acting career, and apart from returning to the world of singing, Rain is currently communicating and consulting with local drama series producers, with the hope of returning to the screen this autumn. This will be Rain's first resurfacing work after 3 years of lapse since in 2005.

After acting a supporting role of a race car driver in Wachowski Brothers', Rain is speeding up in his footsteps to march into the international film circle--playing a very important lead role in their next new movie. As Rain's influence gradually increases in the international film circle, his local fans are anticipating even more for their idol to return to his hometown someday to see him act in a leading role for a drama series. 2004's enabled Rain and Song Hye-kyo to sweep the whole of Asia overnight, and although Rain had filmed another drama piece afterwards, the influence was never as superior as it was for.

Therefore, Rain's resurfacing work on screen this year has specially been receiving much attention and anticipation. Based on what is understood, Rain has already been receiving many invitations for various drama series, and at present time he has basically already set his work in place and is in the communication/negotiation stage. Because this is his first return after 3 years, his work of choice is especially prudent. If Rain can go as planned and return this October to resume his profession domestically, then after 2 months he estimates that by December he will temporarily separate from the domestic entertainment world to continue developing his international performance once more.
