Rain in Hong Kong at "Speed Racer" promotion

Summary of articles from Rain USA:
1. 300 fans or so came to greet him at the HK airport upon his arrival. He had 20 or so bodyguards of his own with him, plus the airport's own security and another 7 more bodyguards provided by Warner Brothers.

2. He stayed at the Peninsula Hotel.

3. During the interview, Rain said that his character "Taejo Togokhan" was a very fun character to play; although a bit mischievous, "Taejo" was all in all a good person.

4. He said that the entire shooting process of the movie was not difficult at all; there was constantly a good atmosphere.

5. Apparently in one part of the movie, "Taejo" disguises as a woman. When Rain was asked whether there was any struggle going through that, he curled his lip and said that he was worried before the shooting of that scene over whether his legs would look nice. But after watching the movie, he said that he was very satisfied with his legs! (Hahaha....)

6. When he goes overseas for work, Rain said that he packs "Shin" and "Dan Dan" noodle packages in his suitcase from home. Whenever he gets hungry, he relies on these 'local delicacies' to satisfy his desire.

7. Chinese actress Yu Nan plays Taejo's older sister in "Speed Racer". Rain said that the biggest difference between them is their eye lids. He said she has big eyes while he has no eyelid, and therefore they look nothing alike. When asked whether he liked women with or without eyelids, he said that neither one matters.

8. He also said that after his promotional visit to the US, he will continue with a very tight filming schedule for "Ninja Assassin". He said that that's the reason why he is unable to cut his hair right now.

9. At this meeting at Olympian City, the HK fans gave him a 35 pound cake to commemorate the 6th anniversary of his debut. After cutting the cake, he had the cake distributed out to all the excited fans in the audience.
