On March 21, the Samsung Olympic Games theme song "Anydream" that was done in Chinese for the first time by Rain was released in Beijing. The entire song follows his movements, dynamic hip-hop style; and through various forms of expressions, Rain's optimistic self-confidence and spirit of persistent dreaming are portrayed. Moreover there has been a great improvement in Rain's enunciation and pronunciation in parts where he sings in Chinese. Based on introductions, this Olympic Games theme song will be broadcast during the process of the passing of the torch as well as during the sporting events.
The production of this MV highlights the strong element of the Beijing Olympic Games; cultural scenes representing the people of Beijing such as Wangfujing, the Forbidden City and Hutong can be see through the video. Meanwhile, the basketball court and dance-off scenes portraying unceasing Olympic spirits of self-challenge and self-transcending go perfectly well with the song's artistic conception and theme. Also worth mentioning is that the MV's leading lady in the 'hot' dance with Rain is an ordinary, unknown Beijing girl named Song Qian Jing. She has been dancing for about 10 years, and is still currently training at the Beijing Dance Academy. A fresh new look as well as the incompatibly graceful dance postures of Rain are the main attractions in this MV.
