Rain Arrived in Shanghai; Stirring Up Fans

Rain, who will be stepping up on stage for his concert tomorrow at Hong Kou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai, flew into Shanghai from South Korea yesterday at about 2 pm, stirring up fans at the Pu Dong International Airport. Reporters learned on-the-spot that the crowd had been waiting since 8 in the morning, and besides fans from all around China, there were also fans from Australia, Singapore, Thailand and so on who flew in specifically for this occasion.
Yesterday at around 1 pm, reporters arrived at the arrival hall at the airport, and saw that the hall had been encircled entirely with white balloons covered over poles, with the inscription "Rain" on them, and 78 huge playbills (boards) hanging in striking positions. Nearly a thousand fans crowded the entire arrival hall waiting for the plane while at the same time chanting Rain's name and waving the hand boards and pictures. Around 2 pm, Rain, who appeared wearing a hat/cap, scarf and who just had an overall 'cool' body appearance, entered the arrival hall, causing the entire audience to seethe with excitement immediately. The fans shouted wildly Rain's name while rushing towards him. At the exit, Rain politely shook the hands of fans, bowing with gratitude, all the while causing the fans to shout even more. If it were not for the 8 black-dressed bodyguards and a police vehicle to clear the way, it would perhaps have been difficult for Rain to securely leave the place.
As a token of gratitude to the fans, Rain immediately held a fan meeting at the airport hotel. According to the sponsors, fans who attended yesterday's fan meeting came from Singapore, the US, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, 9 other countries and 20 Chinese cities. At the scene, fans from these various countries used the slogan "We are the friends, we all love Rain", expressing their affection to him.
Amidst frantic cheers, 3 small 'angels' with wings symbolizing "peace and compassion" greeted Rain upon his entry. The fans imitated (??) in various ways showing their sentiments of affection towards him. Rain used Chinese that he had just learned to greet everyone whole-heartedly, expressing that he did not imagine that China had so many warm fans to come see him at the airport, a gesture that was moving to him. He hopes that tomorrow everyone will be able to come see him in concert, and that he will put on one of his best performances, not disappointing his fans.
