With his new company embodying his own name, singer RAIN steps out confidently into the world. An official announcement from Rain's agency on Oct 18 stated that the company name was renamed from "Satec" to "J. Tune Entertainment".
The company staff said, "After several discussion between Rain and the management, this name was chosen finally. It contains various meanings, other than revealing Rain's future direction, more importantly it also shows that Rain is going into a wider and broader stage in the world." The name "J. Tune" contains several meanings.
First of all, the first letter "J" is the initial of Rain's real name, Jeong Jihun. Using his own name in company name, it emphasizes that this company represents Rain himself - a hidden meaning of "Jeong Jihun's private limited."
Secondly, the word "Tune" has the meanings of 'singing' 'voices of all instruments'. Compared to the name of "Jeong Jihun", this word expresses Rain's ambition to go around the world. With the announcement of Rain's new company, it means the beginning of the world stage. Rain will perform a musical show on Oct 27 in Daegu. After that, he will immediately participate in the preparation work for USA market. Rain will fly to USA in November to work on his USA album, film, CFs and other overseas activities.
