According to Fu Ma's representative from its marketing department, in order to promote further the popularity of the cake, Fu Ma did not hesitate to spend a large sum of money to invite South Korean pop sensation Rain to be the brand's spokesperson.The image of Rain and the elements of the cake brand which would be portrayed tally together. Presently, Rain's human spirit is of a high status in the minds of the generation of youth. He is bright, good-looking, graceful, talented and skillful. These are factors that Fu Ma has been looking out for. In addition to this, when many people participated and tried eating this cake previously, all of them felt some sort of uniqueness in the cake, and this seemed to match along really well with the name of Rain. Because of this, Fu Ma finally chose Rain to be the spokesperson of the cake brand.
Fu Ma's president Mr. Yong He said, "The spokesperson fee for Rain is very high, but this instead shows our Fu Ma's determination. We believe that this is a win-win situation between the 3 parties of Fu Ma, Rain and the Chinese consumers." It is reported that after seeking out Rain as its spokesperson, Fu Ma will also have bigger movements to engage in a series of promotional activities to bring out further the name of the cake brand and to make it as a long-term prospect in the market.
